A Comprehensive Diagnostic Plan for Senior Pets
Senior pets (dogs and cats over the age of 7 years) need extra care and it is our goal to make your pet’s golden years pain-free and joyful. Studies indicate that at least 20% of senior pets have serious undetected medical conditions, which is why we offer a comprehensive diagnostic package available at a discounted rate.
Dogs and cats over 7 years old are eligible for a the senior package which includes:
A full wellness exam
3 view chest x-rays to evaluate the heart and lungs
Comprehensive senior bloodwork (CBC, extensive chemistry, thyroid testing, urinalysis, heartworm testing/tick testing or FeLV/FIV testing)
Blood pressure evaluation
Fecal testing to rule out intestinal parasites (please bring a sample)
Nail trim
All included for $650, which is a savings of over $237! This comprehensive package is an excellent way to find or rule out common ailments that affect senior pets before they become major health concerns or cause irreversible damage.
Please bring a fresh stool sample for fecal testing and expect these appointments to take 60-90 minutes minimum in order to complete all diagnostics. Pets can be dropped off after the physical exam and picked up when their diagnostics are complete if you'd like to run errands in the meantime.
Bloodwork included in the senior package also qualifies for pre-operative bloodwork needed for a dental cleaning, which is discounted in the month of February. Learn more about our dental month discount.
