A trusted member of our extended team, Dr. Stubbs is a mobile Board Certified surgeon by the American College of Veterinary Surgery (ACVS). As owner of Mile High Veterinary Surgical Specialists, he brings deep experience and specialized skill to our surgery services. Dr. Stubbs received his DVM degree from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, received his internship training at Cornell University and completed his residency in small animal surgery at the University of Florida. A published author of articles for medical journals, speaker and consultant to numerous zoos and animal rescue organizations, Dr. Stubbs is brings a wealth of experience to our hospital.
