Our veterinary clinic is fully accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association based on a quality review of our veterinary practice methods, pet health care management, facility and equipment in addition to a stringent evaluation of more than 900 standards in patient care, client service and medical protocols. Only 12 percent of small animal hospitals in the U.S. have achieved this accreditation.

Holly Cogswell, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Cogswell has owned and led Aurora Animal Hospital since 2003. A graduate of Colorado State University, one of the world’s leading veterinary schools, she also completed an externship at the prestigious Angel Memorial animal hospital in Tokyo and received her Certification in Veterinary Acupuncture from CSU.
Caring and experienced, Dr. Cogswell is a veterinarian whose life-long love for animals pushes her to care for your pets as passionately as she does for her own.
A Colorado native, Dr. Cogswell looks after a furry family including kitties Ling and Scout and mutt Chico.
Sharyn Esposito, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Esposito has been practicing veterinary medicine since 1996 after graduating from Colorado State University’s veterinary school of medicine. She completed an externship at the Kaytee Avian Research Center, has been published in Popular Pet magazine, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Cavey Care Rescue.
Experienced and passionate, Dr. Esposito brings our animal hospital’s mission of “Innovative Medicine, Compassionate Care” to life every day.
Originally from Ohio, Dr. Esposito nurtures a BIG family including dogs Reily and Tashi, kitties Trapper, Turtle and Kitty, bearded dragon Rex, blue and gold macaw Gilligan and umbrella cockatoo Ziggy...plus three horses and ten chickens!
Stacy Rothman, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Rothman is also a graduate of industry-leading Colorado State University's veterinary school of medicine.
Dynamic and caring, Dr. Rothman brings the newest medical practices and techniques to our experienced team.
A native of Southern California, Dr. Rothman shares her home with Bella the longhaired Chihuahua and Waggin the bearded dragon.
A devote animal lover, Ashley’s is the first face your pets will see when you visit us. She’s committed to making sure your experience at Aurora Animal Hospital is the best it can be.
A Colorado native, Ashley’s brood includes dogs Tiger and Diver, Olive Oyl the kitten and Rambo the turtle.
Bre Browning, Customer Care
Certified in dog training from California's Certified Animal Behavior College, Bre works to make sure everyone's visit goes smoothly.
A native of Nebraska, Bre gets lots of sloppy kisses from her dog Cabo.
Charity Young, Certified Veterinary Technician
A graduate of acclaimed Bel-Rea Institute with an Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology, Charity is passionate and caring.
Charity moved to Colorado from Alaska and lives with her kitty Lexi.
Christena Pastoor, Veterinary Assistant
With a B.S. degree in Biology and Psychology from Calvin College, Christena is receiving training in animal behavior and is exceptionally caring with our critter clients.
Raised in Virginia, Christena spoils her only child, Max the dog.
Crystal Sandell, Certified Veterinary Technician
A graduate of prestigious Bel-Rea Institute with an Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology, Crystal is experienced and trustworthy.
A Colorado native, Crystal’s family includes kitties Daisy and Lily and Thor the pooch.
Sara Peckinphaugh, Certified Veterinary Technician
A graduate of Ridgewater College with an Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology, Sara is experienced and trustworthy.
A native of Minnesota, Sara laughs with her dog Saoirsa and kitties Blink, Dakota and Chase.
